Dear friend
I am asking you a very important question. ARE YOU SAVED?
You may be a Church member and baptized, keep the Golden Rule, pay your debts, and be a good citizen, and still be on the road to Hell. Jesus said in John 3:3: Ye must be born again. He is the only begotten Son of God, he ought to know. For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him should not perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE.
This shows that man by nature is not saved, and does not have eternal life. If man was already saved, then there was no need of Jesus coming to suffer and die the horrible death on the cross for our sins. You must realize you were born in this world a SINNER. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Men and women die in their sins and go to hell because they choose to trust either themselves or something to get them to heaven.
If your trusting that living a good life and trying to do good will get you to heaven, please be advised: God said, Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. For by Grace are ye saved though faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Do you realize that the wages of Sin is Death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Just as you work for wages in your life, so to does sin have wages for each sin you commit. Each time you sin against God there is a wage added to your list of sins. You have the choice of paying these wages yourself, or letting the Lord Jesus Christ pay them for you. Each sin has a wage that must be paid, and the only place they can be paid is in Hell. You might say to yourself..."well I don't sin that much"...but the problem is that God said in James 2:10; For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet, offend in one point, he is guilty of all. In God's eye's a little white lie is the same as murder! Sin is sin. Proverbs 24:9 says; The thought of foolishness is sin. Do you realize that if you just had ten foolish thoughts a day, for one year that's 10 X 365 days in a year = 3,650 sins a year. Just think for the last 10 years that would be 36,500 sins against God. And what about your other sins. For every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day if Judgment . Lucky for us that God loved us enough to send His Son to die in our place and go to Hell with your sins and He paid the price for you. It's paid! He paid your debt. Sin can only be washed away by sinless blood for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.
God gave you the free will to choose. It's your choice. Either pay them yourself in hell forever or let God pay them for you, because when you sin against an Eternal God, it requires an eternal sacrifice, and Jesus Christ was that sacrifice. He had offered one sacrifice for sins FOREVER. In whom we have redemption THROUGH HIS BLOOD, even the forgiveness of sins. Jesus Christ shed his blood for SINNERS. Eternal life is a FREE GIFT ! Because Jesus Christ paid for your sins at Calvary. And in order to get your sins forgiven and get eternal life you must come to him. Jesus said, I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No man cometh unto the Father but by me. If Jesus said: I am the WAY, why try to get to heaven some other way such as religion. Do you realize that eternal life is a GIFT ? It's free to you, all you have to do is ask for it, not work for it...it's FREE. The problem with trusting your religion, is that all religions on the face of the earth (Broad is the way that leadth to destruction) teach that YOU MUST DO SOMETHING to get to heaven! They all teach this, although they all have different methods and requirements to obtain the goal. Basically they all teach the same thing......YOU, YOU, YOU. But God says; But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, NOR OF THE WILL OF THE FLESH, NOR OF THE WILL OF MAN, but of God. John 1:12-13.
Jesus said, I am the WAY. Jesus said, Ye must be BORN AGAIN. You were born into this world by a physical birth. You are born into the kingdom of God by a spiritual birth. Jesus said, Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth for ever.
There is no chance to be saved, unless your come to realize you are a sinner. Because you are a sinner, you are already condemned to die, for God said the wages of sin is DEATH. He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18
If I were passing your house in the middle of the night, and saw your house on fire, and did not stop to warn you, what would you think of me? I am now warning you if you have not been born again, you are in far greater danger than the losing of your worldly possessions. You are headed for a lake of fire. God says, And WHOSOEVER was not found written in the book of life was cast into the LAKE OF FIRE. Rev. 20:15
For God so love the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation. God says, Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. There is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Jesus said, Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give your rest. Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow.
Take God at his word, he promised to save you if you would just come to him and ask. He gave you two promises. He said, " He that cometh unto me I will in no wise cast out", and: "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Be not deceived, God is not mocked. He wants you to come to Him on HIS TERMS......NOT YOURS. He wants you to come to Him as a Sinner who has no hope. One of the best weapons the devil uses today is these programs on TV and these new age evangelistic churches which preach a good message and then when the invitation is presented they seem to let the devil take control of their mouths and say something like....."Ask God to come into your life, or give God your life, ....or ask Jesus to come into your life....or dedicate your life to Christ......or commit your life to Christ...........or God, take control of my life....or I'll give myself to God." Every religion in the world does that.
A lot of times people have bad things that happen in their lives and they come to God and say something like..." Oh God, please don't let so- in so die and I will live the rest of my life as a Christian, or I will give my life to you if you will only etc. " This type of statement although sincere, is one of the biggest traps of the devil to damn souls. You did the best you could on the knowledge you had, but have you forgotten that its the devils job to deceive? He make's sure that the air ways are full of false gospels. It's his job. If you want the truth, Jesus said "I am the way, the Truth and the life." The devil has nothing to lose...but you do...your soul...don't take a chance..prove all things, hold fast that which is good.
Talking about being born again...in John 1:13 shows you that all these statements or request will send you to hell. Jn 1:13..."Which were born, not of blood, NOR OF THE WILL OF THE FLESH, ...NOR OF THE WILL OF MAN, but of God." Did you get that ? NOT BY THE WILL OF MAN !!!!!
Please don't make the mistake of coming to God and thinking that the most holy thing you can do is totally surrender you life or give your life as a living sacrifice to Christ and God will be pleased...He will be insulted!!! He gave His only Begotten Son as that sacrifice. He does not want your life in any way, shape or form....He wants to save your Soul. There is not one verse of scripture anywhere in the Bible to say that if you give your life etc.. God will save you.....! God says in John 1:12 " But as many as RECEIVED HIM to them gave he power to become the sons of God..." He does not want your life....He wants you to come to Him on His terms as a sinner with NO HOPE. He wants you to ask Him to save you from Hell and to receive Jesus Chist into your heart and be your saviour. You must receive him.
Sinner friend, God loves you. Why will you die in your sins and go to hell? The choice is yours. If you will by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, read the following prayer.
"Oh God, I have sinned against you and deserve to go to hell. I am not good enough to get myself to heaven. Please save me from hell for Jesus sake and please forgive me for sinning against you. Please blot out my sins with Jesus blood. I NOW, by faith receive Jesus Christ into my heart as my personal Savior, and believes He saves me now. Thank You for saving me in Jesus name, amen."
If you don't know how to pray, you can read the lines out loud to God and mean them as you ask God to save you and He will.
If you have done the above. I want you to do one thing, ...look down into yourself and ask yourself a question. "Did I mean what I said?"
Answer yourself. Yes or No. If yes, then your Saved. Taking God at His word and holding Him to what He promised is really simple. Now that God has saved your soul form Hell, ask him to guide and direct you into all truth.
If NO....and you will not at this time receive Jesus as your Savior, and there's still some doubt about God and His promise, then ask God to Prove Himself to you........!
It's between you and Him. No one else. Either deal with Him now on earth or at the White Throne Judgment ! Please be warned, if you wait and die in your sins, it will be to late. Once you take your last breath...there is no second chance. God said, There is but a step between me and death. Consider the cost.
