The Stalwart was made by Alvis Motors of England. Has a load capacity of 5 tons and a towing rate of 6 tons. You will notice that the Stalwart comes from the family of the Saracen and Saladin. The vehicle can be obtained with a 3 ton crane. The amphibious capabilities has led this vehicle to be very popular in the USA. Total 6x6 at all times this vehicle can go just about anywhere as it has great climbing ability. Cargo area can hold 30 outfitted troops. Tires are larger than the Saracen & Saladin and are not bullet proof as the others. This vehicle is popular for rescue and flood type work. Ocean waves are also no problem as the crew can shut down the hatches on top and do fine. Street legal. Steering is by steering wheel on the road, but when water reaches over 4' the water propulsion system is turned on by a lever, then the steering is by levers that operate the hydraulics.
